Document Scanning & Indexing Specialist (2nd Shift)

Location: [Insert Location]
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Occasional evenings/3rd shift as needed)
Schedule: 5 days/week | 9-hour shifts (includes 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)


Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable professionals to join our team as Document Scanning & Indexing Specialists. This role plays a critical part in digitizing and organizing important documents with precision and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

This position consists of three core functions, with opportunities to rotate tasks throughout your shift:

1. Scanning (Core Responsibility – ~80%)

  • Move prepped cartons to scanning stations (one at a time)
  • Load documents into various scanning equipment (single sheets or batches)
  • Ensure documents are scanned accurately
  • Return materials in correct order to cartons
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and cleaning of scanning equipment
  • Primarily seated, with ~20% standing while feeding scanners

2. Quality Control (~10%)

  • Review scanned images for clarity, completeness, and accuracy
  • Ensure all documents meet quality standards before processing

3. Release & Indexing (~10%)

  • Enter data and categorize scanned documents
  • Prepare files for release to clients/customers
  • Maintain accurate indexing for easy retrieval
