Description
Imaging Associates is seeking a Sonographer.
At Imaging Associates you'll find a team of friendly and experienced sonographers leveraging the latest GE ultrasound technology for unsurpassed diagnostic accuracy. All of our locations are ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence!
Studies performed at Imaging Associates include General, OB/GYN, Small Parts, and Breast. We are also a comprehensive vascular lab.
Work closely with our breast imaging team who leverage 3D mammography (Breast Tomography), breast MRI, ultrasound, and breast biopsy.

Alaska Radiology Associates' board-certified radiologists are trained at top radiology residency programs. They are the only Alaskan radiology group having radiologists with dedicated fellowship training in every major imaging sub-specialty, including interventional radiology (IR), neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, women's imaging, body imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, pediatric radiology and nuclear medicine. One fourth of ARA radiologists have dual fellowship training.

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
  • Providing sonograms and oral or written summaries of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis
  • Operating ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of motion, shape and composition of blood, organs, tissues, or masses such as fluid accumulations
  • Maintaining records that include patient information, sonographs, and interpretations, files of correspondence, and other related documents/reports.

Requirements
  • ARDMS registered, RVT and Breast preferred
  • Current BLS
  • 1+ years of experience, post education, required. 3 years desired.
