Job description

The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Responsible for the day-to-day functions within the Apex Distribution Center. The Supervisor is responsible for activities within the DC including, but not limited to, safety, performance and costs. The supervisor will work closely with on-site leadership and collaborate with support functions such as customer service, engineering and system design to deliver cost and service KPI’s. This position will sit onsite at our Apex, NC facility supervising on the A Shift. Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm EST.

The Build (Responsibilities)

Analyze workload and ensure staffing plan supports demand 

Ensure the team is fully capable of performing all duties within a safe working environment. 

Drive a continuous improvement mindset within the facility and collaborate with central resources to improve process flow within the warehouse. 

Maintain inventory accuracy through applying effective audit activities and 5S initiatives. 

Lead and develop all direct reports and other individuals throughout the facility to ensure bench depth and a pipeline of talent for current and future needs. 

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications: 

BS in a supply chain or business related field or equivalent experience 

3+ years of progressive leadership responsibility in a distribution environment 

Track record of achieving growth and profitability targets including the reduction of costs while increasing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality. 

Effectively delegate and use accountability to lead others in delivering financial and service KPI’s. 

Effective communication skills across various levels of the organization with individuals at all levels within the organization.  

Change agent that can inspire others to adopt the company mission and vision. 

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Prior experience with Manhattan and SAP software.
