Brief Overview
The Director, Strategic Partnerships will play an important role on the team managing and expanding strategic partnerships, achieving business goals, managing pipelines, and acting as the partner SME within Amwell.
Specifically, the Sr. Account Director, Strategic Partnerships will contribute to company success by:
Core Responsibilities
Qualify, execute and manage partner programs with Amwell key strategic partners
Develop go-to-market and execution plans for current partnerships - joint marketing plans, management of pipelines, partner training
Support product, implementation, sales, contacting and strategy for joint partner offerings.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and support opportunities relevant to both existing clients and prospects
Qualifications
Minimum 6 of years' experience of successfully managing complex relationships in the healthcare marketplace - specific understanding of Health Plans, ASO employers and clinical point solutions. Sales and contracting experience preferred.
Experience working healthcare technology and integrated solutions
Ability to create and execute business and sales strategy plans
Experience in negotiating complex healthcare agreements
Team attitude and desire to expand skill set
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fluid, fast-paced environment

Salaried, Exempt Roles
The typical base salary range for this position is $138,510 - $169,290. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission, and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
