Key Responsibilities:


   Researches, develops, and implements area sales plan, programs, policies, and goals which further strategic objectives and expand business opportunities.
   Promote and differentiate products and services.
   Identifies market opportunities and threats while developing plan of action to address.
   Conducts sales presentations to all levels of the sales channel.
   Conducts regular sales calls to build Landis+Gyr presence - customer, manufacturer representative, and distributor.
   Represent Landis+Gyr at industry events such as tradeshows, conferences and regulatory sessions.
   Follow up on product leads and tracks major transactions through closing.
   Secure, manage, and monitor sales performance of value-added resellers or distributors as applicable.
   Develops specific action plans to improve sales channel opportunities.
   Maintains in-depth knowledge of Landis+Gyr products in order to create and deliver presentations, answer product and application questions, and provide support, including product training to customers, agents, and distributors.
   Maintains in-depth knowledge of customer/client systems, operations, applications and needs.
   Assists and supports management and other company departments regarding long and short-term planning and directives.
   Networks with trade contacts, professional organizations, and external sources to further develop channel partners and growth opportunities.
   Maintains a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products and competitors to support the identification of business development opportunities.
   Submits accurate, timely and complete records to management as scheduled.
   Communicates related information regularly to management.


Education and Experience:


   Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelors Degree
   Required Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ to 7
   Solid understanding of energy industry.  
   Strong technical aptitude.  
   Ability to articulate value propositions. 
   Knowledge of channel strategies.  
   Thorough understanding of sales functions.

Pay is in the range of $142,303 - $189,159 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
