What You'll Do as a Director of Operations

  • Lead our day-to-day operations, developing people and aligning teams around clear expectations, company goals, and measurable results.
  • Manage and hold direct reports accountable while fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and excellence.
  • Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our core operational processes, ensuring documentation using Scorecard Measurables.
  • Ensure our staffing, hiring, onboarding, and HR coordination keep pace with company growth and workforce needs.
  • Develop our team by making sure employees have the training, skills, and support they need to perform confidently and grow in their roles.
  • Conduct quarterly one-on-one conversations with direct reports to create clarity, encourage growth, and maintain accountability to individual and team Rocks and Measurables.
  • Measure operational effectiveness using Scorecard Measurables and strengthen systems and workflows based on results.
  • Build strong relationships across departments, bringing energy and alignment to our leadership team as we scale NewLight Health.
