The E-Learning Specialist is part of our Learning & Development team and impacts our organization's training and the development of future leaders. You will manage our Learning Management System reporting and ensure our training content is effective and engaging. This position is located in-office at our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD), five days a week. 
In this role you will:
  • Report on training program completion and collaborate with the team on resulting action items.
  • Troubleshoot user interface issues, navigation challenges, new implementations, configurations, and other obstacles related to the learning management system.
  • Support L&D team in drafting and producing training materials.
  • Monitor and manage employee contributions.
What we look for:
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and methodologies
  • Experience with Excel & Google Sheets
  • Experience working in a retail environment, specially in training new hires
  • Experience with teaching and creating content for a range of audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary projects with a variety of other teams
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
  • Dependable, ability to think creatively and takes initiative to solve problems
  • 1-2 years experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
