Job Summary:

The Project Manager will support the Director of Fulfillment through working with subcontractors, managing subcontractors, managing the project budget, managing the project schedule, and assuring quality of work completed. The FTTH Project Manager will work with a positive and highly motivated team of construction professionals to learn or further develop their knowledge of the construction life cycle. This experience will allow for within the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the work of employees and contractors and contract correspondence.
    • Provide training to new Technicians and Installers - ensuring complete understanding of Company policies and procedures.
    • Review weekly production invoices and ensure all required documents are included with invoices.
    • Manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process.
    • Manage multi-contractor projects as well as contractor compliance with project documents.
    • Work with individuals to complete project deadlines on time
    • Provide detailed progress reports.
    • Provide technical evaluations, advice, and guidance.
    • Ensure that all projects under the position's direction are administered in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to safety, labor relations, EEOC, etc. and industry standards.
    • Progressively increasing job knowledge and ability to learn and apply new skills.


Qualifications:

All positions require participation in the federally compliant FMSCA drug and alcohol testing program. This includes both pre-employment and ongoing random testing.

  • 5+ years of Project management experience required.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in Fiber optic construction experience required.
  • PMP Certification desired.
  • Must have proficient working knowledge with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, MS Outlook, and computer operating systems.
  • Desire to learn the construction project management field and grow with a company.
  • Professionally represent the company to the owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, government officials and inspectors
  • Detail oriented and driven
  • Very strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
  • Perform duties independently by exercising discretion and sound judgment
  • Ability to read and interpret area maps
