AMP Sales and Marketing is looking for an experienced sales manager with deep expertise in selling digital marketing products and services. In addition to being a subject matter expert, this person will be integral in training teams, coaching and optimizing their sales approach, and creating winning strategies that extend the life of every campaign. The candidate will also be responsible for creating solid partnerships with advertising customers, local station leadership and fulfillment teams. We're looking for someone who has experience in managing people and processes, and someone who understands the fundamentals of the businesses of our broad customer base. Specific Duties include:
  1. Manage team of 10+ local Marketing Sales Managers, each of whom has revenue goals to achieve
  2. Conduct client-facing presentations with local Sales and Marketing Specialists and local advertising clients
  3. Develop strategies to increase client retention and ensure Sales and Marketing Specialists' success for market penetration, average deal size, and total revenue
  4. Collaborate with delivery staff, ad operations, and vendors to find optimal workflows for all fulfillment duties
  5. Define, measure and report on the KPIs that are most meaningful for client success
  6. Provide the VP of Digital Sales with monthly outlook and revenue forecast
  7. Collaborate with VP of Digital Sales and in-market Sinclair Broadcast leadership to set objectives and key results
  8. Work closely with sales management and corporate staff to ensure coordination and cooperation in support of sales and operations
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned

Desired Skills/Experience:
  1. Proven track record of developing and managing people/teams and sales process
  2. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining top-tier customer relationships
  3. Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of marketing strategies, general business cycles and consumer behavior
  4. Real experience and success communicating and working directly with advertising customers on identifying and achieving their business goals
  5. Strength in running multiple unique strategic projects concurrently
  6. Expertise in developing businesses using broadcast and digital marketing tools
  7. Consistent goal achievement and the ability to forecast accurately

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. 5+ years of experience in traditional and/or digital media sales
  3. Experience managing a large multi-state territory
  4. Proficient in the use of office software and CRM tools
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  6. Previous sales management experience is preferred

The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000 and performance based bonuses. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
