Job description

This role owns our crypto revenue stream as a business. Buying, selling, conversion, OTC and the customers who use us because doing this in person with a regulated counterparty beats doing it alone on an exchange.

The commercial core of the job is spread, liquidity and risk: what we quote, where we source, how much inventory we hold, and how we avoid getting caught out by a move. The growth side is understanding why customers choose a branch over an app and building on that.

You will work closely with the Head of Banking, since many customers use both sides, and with Compliance, where crypto brings its own obligations around travel rule, blockchain analytics and sanctions screening.

What you'll do
  • Own the crypto revenue line: volume, spread, margin and forecast
  • Set pricing and manage spread across the assets we support
  • Manage liquidity providers, exchange relationships and settlement partners
  • Own inventory and market risk policy — how much we hold and how we hedge it
  • Define the crypto product roadmap across buy, sell, convert and OTC
  • Work with Compliance on travel rule, blockchain analytics and sanctions screening
  • Support branches and the sales team on larger OTC transactions
  • Report performance and strategy directly to the founders
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years in crypto at an exchange, OTC desk, brokerage or trading firm
  • Direct experience with liquidity sourcing, spread management or inventory risk
  • You understand custody, settlement and the operational reality of moving assets across chains
  • Commercial ownership of a revenue line, not solely a technical or trading seat
  • Comfortable operating in a regulated environment with compliance obligations attached
  • Clean background check
Nice to have
  • OTC desk experience, particularly with business rather than retail counterparties
  • Familiarity with blockchain analytics tooling and travel rule requirements
  • Experience with stablecoin settlement and cross-border flows
