The role combines business process understanding with hands-on technology development. The successful candidate will be comfortable experimenting with emerging AI technologies, building prototypes and working solutions, integrating systems through APIs and connectors, and translating business needs into solutions that can be deployed and used by the organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this is an individual contributor role with significant hands-on responsibility and direct visibility into the business. • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine where they can provide practical business value.
  • Test, validate, monitor, document, and continuously improve AI solutions after deployment.
  • Establish appropriate controls for AI solutions, including data access, security, human oversight, and responsible use.

Business Systems & Process Improvement

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, identify pain points, and define opportunities for technology-enabled improvement.
  • Translate business problems into practical technical solutions and clearly defined use cases.
  • Gather and document business requirements, process flows, user stories, and solution designs.
  • Configure and support Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions, including SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
  • Connect and improve existing business systems rather than relying solely on manual processes or isolated tools.
  • Document processes, solutions, integrations, and technical decisions.
  • Support adoption of new solutions and work directly with users to improve effectiveness.

Data & Analytics

  • Use business data to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop or enhance dashboards, reports, and data-driven tools using Power BI, Excel, SQL, or similar technologies as needed.
  • Use data to support AI solutions, automation workflows, business analysis, and decision-making.
  • Perform targeted analysis and reporting when required to support business initiatives.

Microsoft GCC High Environment

  • Ensure AI, automation, integrations, and business applications comply with applicable security, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and resolve technical challenges.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for solutions, integrations, data flows, and AI applications.
  • Apply appropriate controls for data access, security, privacy, and responsible AI use.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship Required: Due to government contract and facility security requirements, this position is limited to U.S. citizens. Candidates requiring employment authorization through an EAD, visa, or other non-citizen work authorization are not eligible for consideration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of hands-on experience applying AI, automation, software development, business systems, or related technologies to solve business problems.
  • Hands-on experience building or implementing AI-enabled solutions using generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI automation platforms.
  • Experience with one or more enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, or similar technologies.
  • Experience building workflows or automations using Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Python, APIs, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of LLM concepts including prompting, context, grounding/RAG, tool use, evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience integrating systems or data using APIs, connectors, webhooks, JSON, or similar technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with an interest in identifying practical applications for emerging technology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple business problems and technology initiatives.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior professional experience working within a Microsoft GCC High environment is highly preferred.

  • Experience using Python or another programming language to build AI/automation solutions.
  • SharePoint development or administration.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other data/analytics tools.
