About the Role
Applies clinical and technical expertise to design, develop, and deliver digital and online educational solutions that support global customers and internal stakeholders. This role is focused on the creation of scalable digital education, including on-demand learning, live online education, and other virtual educational services, rather than routine local, in-person customer support.
The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Global Product Management (GPM), Research & Development (R&D), Marketing, and Technical Services to ensure educational content is clinically accurate, aligned with product strategy, and supports successful product adoption across markets. The position includes regular participation in video-based digital education for global audiences.
Job Knowledge and Complexity:
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert within own clinical and technical specialty area.
  • Strong understanding of Össur's products, clinical applications, and the role of education in driving product adoption and customer success.
  • Working knowledge of digital education methodologies, virtual training delivery, and adult learning principles.
  • Understands how Sales, GPM, and R&D contribute to the broader organization and product lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Digital & Online Education
  • Designs, develops, and maintains digital educational content, including e-learning modules, instructional videos, webinars, virtual workshops, and other online learning assets.
  • Plans and delivers live online education for global internal and external audiences.
  • Presents education content via video and live online formats as part of global digital learning offerings.
  • Ensures all educational materials are clinically accurate, pedagogically sound, and aligned with regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Continuously improves digital education offerings based on feedback, performance data, and evolving clinical and market needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Works closely with Sales to ensure educational content supports commercial strategies, product launches, and scalable customer onboarding.
  • Partners with Global Product Management (GPM) to align education with product positioning, intended use, and lifecycle milestones.
  • Collaborates with R&D and Medical Office to translate product design, features, and clinical evidence into clear, effective educational materials.
  • Provides structured clinical and educational input throughout new product development and post-launch phases.
Clinical & Technical Expertise
  • Acts as a clinical and technical resource for internal stakeholders, supporting questions related to product use, indications, and clinical application.
  • Contributes to the development and review of educational aspects of Instructions for Use (IFUs), training materials, and other technical documentation.
  • Supports Technical Services and Customer Service teams with training content and clinical education, primarily through digital and online channels.
Quality, Feedback & Continuous Improvement
  • Collects and synthesizes feedback from Sales, customers, and internal teams to continuously improve educational offerings.
  • Monitors competitive education approaches and digital learning trends and shares insights with Marketing, GPM, and Academy leadership.
  • Ensures education-related processes comply with Össur's Quality Management System and applicable regulatory requirements.
Individual Contributor
  • Does not have direct people management responsibility.
  • Independently manages projects, priorities, and deliverables within established policies and procedures.
  • May lead or coordinate cross-functional project work related to digital education initiatives.
Who You Are
  • Vocational or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist (CPO) or equivalent clinical certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a vocational degree or 2 years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Premiere Pro experience preferred.
  • Experience in digital education, online training, or educational content development is highly desirable.
  • Experience with splinting and casting is a plus.
Work Environment
On-camera presentation is a core requirement of this role. The employee must be willing and able to appear in recorded and live video-based educational content, including materials that may be publicly accessible and distributed globally across Össur's digital platforms.

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $82,222 - $101,557 + bonus + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay rates. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
