DC News Now | WDCW | WDVM is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Sales Coordinator. As a member of the Sales Department, you will play a critical role in the execution and success of advertiser's digital sales campaigns, from creating and producing social media content for clients and tracking their execution on multiple platforms guaranteeing our customers a successful digital campaign

Responsibilities include:

  • Create, produce and edit short form video and post content tailored for social media platforms
  • Create client branded banners
  • Utilize contesting on social media to drive engagement
  • Execute and manage pacing of digital advertising campaigns for clients, monitoring performance to ensure delivery
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, tolls and practices
  • Develop unique tracking URLs and compile performance reports for cross-platform digital media campaigns
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of digital marketing products and assist in developing advertising solutions and presentations
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Utilize various research tools to assist sales team
  • Perform administrative functions for the sales department, including order entry, traffic, and account data management
  • Actively communicate with clients and sales team personnel

Required skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in social and/or digital media
  • Understand social media platforms including Meta, X, TikTok & YouTube
  • Understand trends and strategy to increase engagement for social media
  • Know how to produce, edit and post content for the right social media platform
  • Creative mindset to generate innovative ideas for campaign success
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team in fast-paced media environment

Compensation Range: $22 - $26 hourly based upon experience
