A Statewide Digital Traffic Manager at Griffin Media helps drive the Ideal Team Player culture.

Job Summary: The Statewide Digital Traffic Manager is responsible for overseeing the digital advertising operations, procedures, and policies across Oklahoma. This role manages a team of Digital Sales Traffic Coordinators, ensuring the efficient and accurate scheduling, delivery, and performance tracking of digital ad campaigns. The Statewide Digital Traffic Manager plays a critical role in optimizing the ad delivery processes, provides up to date strategic insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and maximizes revenue through multiple digital channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of Digital Sales Traffic Coordinators. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to team members. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Oversee daily operations of digital sales campaigns across various platforms for maximum department efficiency. Supervise workflow and make job assignments to ensure accurate and timely campaign delivery. Assume final responsibility for quality control.
  • Review and maintain current campaign performance to ensure 100% delivery. Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics. Provide insights and implement strategies to optimize campaign improvement.
  • Develop reports from site metrics to campaign delivery. Give insights on platform delivery and digital ad revenue between multiple platforms.
  • Interface with other departments in station to ensure accurate ad information.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless campaign execution. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve any issues related to digital ad delivery.
  • Work with accounting to ensure all digital sales related invoices are paid and accounted for.  Track digital sales expenses and provide accounting with proper receipts and coding.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in digital advertising technologies. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient digital traffic operations. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including driving an automobile for company business.

Job Schedule: This is a full-time position primarily working 40 hours per week. You may also be called upon at times to fill in other hours and days of the week to help cover vacations, illnesses, breaking news, severe weather, or special projects/events. This position is not eligible to work remotely.

Skills and Requirements:

  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field preferred.
  • Media background and a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital advertising, media planning or a related role, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
  • Knowledge of personal computers to include Microsoft Operating Systems (Word, Excel, etc.); ability to learn new systems.
  • Proficiency in digital ad trafficking/management platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and technologies, including ad servers, DSPs, and programmatic buying.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and act on campaign performance data.
  • Ability to perform independently and collaboratively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, work quickly organizationally and be detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and excellence.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and mathematical proficiency.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and have a driving record acceptable to the company.
