WoW Studios, Whirlpool Corporation's In-House Agency, is seeking a Digital Asset Manager to manage our library of digital assets including images, videos, and audio used and prepared by our content team.
This role in summary
This role will be responsible for ingesting, organizing, cataloging, and ensuring proper metadata tagging, usage rights, and accessibility within our Digital Asset Management system. This is an Analyst level position. This role will not have people management responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include maintaining file structures, enforcing naming conventions, facilitating asset retrieval, and training users on our Digital Library system in partnership with the organizations Global IT Product Owner, to ensure brand consistency and optimize digital operations. Additionally, the role involves partnering with our brand partners to capture business requirements and strategies, strengthening these relationships to ensure our digital asset ecosystem aligns with their goals.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Asset Organization & Maintenance: Cataloging, organizing, and maintaining digital assets (images, videos, documents) within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Metadata & Tagging: Applying descriptive metadata, keywords, and consistent tags in shot lists to enhance asset searchability and ensure proper usage rights and taxonomy.
  • Workflow & Process Management: Overseeing the asset routing and approval process and documenting best practices for file naming and organization.
  • Content Management: Facilitating the creation, editing, and conversion of digital assets to meet client or internal specifications.
  • User Support & Training: Providing training to users on the Digital Library and Deliverables list, assisting with user requests for asset retrieval, delivery and information.
  • Reporting: Assisting with Digital Asset Management (DAM) reporting and performing image audits.

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or Computer Sciences and 1+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM) Systems Management at an advertising agency or corporate environment or, lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in DAM at an advertising agency or corporate environment
  • 1+ years of technical experience using file formats for video, audio, print or digital and software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Jira

  • Metadata Expertise: Experience in applying clean and consistent metadata through keywording and structured attributes.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
