The Team

Fidelity Digital Asset Management (FDAM) delivers a growing suite of digital asset investment solutions for retail, intermediary, institutional, and on-chain clients. The team integrates Fidelity's robust investment, research, and risk capabilities with digital asset specific expertise to build the next generation of investment products and solutions.

The Role

The Digital Asset Product Manager will lead product development, management, strategy, and positioning for Fidelity Digital Asset Management's (FDAM) digital asset investment product suite. This role covers single and multitoken strategies, thematic and mixedasset exposures, as well as new product structures that integrate digital assets as an emerging alternative asset class for investment portfolios.

A successful candidate will bring deep experience structuring alternative investment products such as private funds, institutional vehicles, or advanced products in the 40 Act space. Additionally, a strong interest in digital assets and their growing role in institutional portfolios is critical.

You will partner closely with FDAM's investment, risk, data science, and strategist teams to shape product design, investment approaches, and client positioning. You will drive the design, development, implementation, and ongoing management of FDAM's product lineup, including product structure selection, pricing, competitive differentiation, client segmentation, and the articulation of investment use cases across channels.

Additionally, you will incorporate strong data analytics into the product development and monitoring process.

The Value You Deliver

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for FDAM's digital asset investment products, including defining product goals, target segments, and competitive positioning.

  • Product Development: Lead the full product lifecycle from concept development through approval, launch, and postlaunch optimization, working crossfunctionally with investment, risk, data science, strategist, technology, operations, and compliance teams.

  • Market Research: Conduct indepth research on emerging investment trends across digital assets and alternative investments, assessing competitor offerings, client demand, and regulatory developments. Serve as a subjectmatter expert on relevant ecosystem trends.

  • Client & Market Insight Partnership: Partner closely with the Digital Asset Strategist team to maintain a realtime understanding of market developments, institutional adoption trends, advisor/client sentiment, and digital asset specific portfolio needs. Incorporate these insights into product design, roadmap prioritization, and gotomarket strategy.

  • Communications & Collaboration: Effectively communicate product plans, priorities, and results to internal stakeholders. Work closely with the AM Product Group to ensure alignment across the broader Fidelity platform. Collaborate with legal, risk, compliance, operations, distribution, and technology partners to launch and support new products.

  • Thought Leadership: Partner with investment, risk, data science, and strategist teams to enhance product narratives, investment content, and thought leadership supporting advisor and client education.

  • Performance Tracking and Analytics: Establish and evaluate KPIs measuring product adoption, flows, liquidity (where applicable), performance drivers, and client usage. Leverage both traditional analytics and AIsupported insights to enhance monitoring and decisionmaking.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously iterate on FDAM's offering set, enhancing existing products based on market dynamics, client feedback, fund performance, competitive shifts, and emerging technologies.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset or wealth management, with significant exposure to alternative investment products and complex vehicle structuring.

  • Proven experience launching and managing products across mutual funds, ETFs, index products, model portfolios, SMAs, private funds, and institutional vehicles.

  • Demonstrated understanding of product design, index methodology, secondary market considerations, and structural mechanics associated with alternative and institutional products.

  • 3+ years of experience investing in or researching digital assets, blockchain, DeFi, or related technologies or strong demonstrated interest with adjacent product expertise.

  • Strong strategic thinking, judgment, and leadership presence, with the ability to influence and collaborate across a large, matrixed organization.

  • Experience working effectively in highgrowth, rapidly evolving environments.

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills; ability to distill complex investment concepts for senior audiences.

  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for market innovation across traditional alternatives and emerging digital asset categories.

  • Deep understanding of retail, intermediary, and institutional distribution channels.

  • CFA, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • Series 7 & 63 (or ability to obtain).

  • Comfort incorporating advanced analytical tools, including emerging AI applications, into research, product evaluation, and workflow optimization (not required but viewed favorably).

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
