Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Media Asset Manager manages the lifecycle of digital media assets across QVC and HSN, ensuring seamless content delivery to linear television, streaming platforms, livestreams, websites, social media channels, and third-party distribution partners. Serving as both a subject matter expert and system steward, you will govern our content from creation and ingest through distribution, archival, and retention, while maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and discoverability of enterprise media assets.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our headquarters in West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do
  • You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our media assets, including ingest, metadata application, quality control, storage, distribution, archiving, and retention.
  • You will oversee enterprise media asset management and video publishing operations, ensuring assets are properly managed and accessible throughout their lifecycle.
  • You will support our live and recorded content operations by creating and managing playlists for on-air broadcast, streaming, and digital distribution channels, ensuring accurate and timelines content delivery.
  • You will monitor system activity, content workflows, and operational performance to ensure service levels and business requirements are met.
  • You will serve as our subject matter expert for media asset management, metadata standards, taxonomy design, content hierarchies, naming conventions, and governance practices.
  • You will develop, maintain, and enforce metadata schemas, controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, and content standards that improve asset discoverability and usability.
  • Establish and oversee asset retention, archival, and content governance policies.
  • You will provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with established workflow and content management standards.
  • You will function as a power user and administrator of media asset management and publishing systems, troubleshooting system, workflow, metadata, and content delivery issues, partnering with Technology and Broadcast Engineering teams for resolution.
  • You will participate in requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and adoption of new features, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • You will support enterprise initiatives and cross-functional projects involving media management, content publishing, and workflow optimization.
  • You will develop reporting and metrics to monitor system performance, user adoption, workload, and operational effectiveness.
  • You will foster adoption of metadata standards, governance processes, and efficient content management practices across the organization.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, Broadcasting, Library Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Management Science, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in Media Asset Management (MAM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), media operations, content operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital media assets and content publishing workflows.
  • Advanced understanding of metadata standards, taxonomy design, controlled vocabularies, and content governance principles.
  • Experience working with media management, video publishing, or content distribution systems.
