Job Summary

The Digital Asset Manager for TV broadcast is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, consistency, and integrity of image data from camera acquisition through post-production delivery. This role is heavily focused on media management workflows, organizing and managing the digital assets for our post-production department, color management, metadata accuracy, and efficient media handoff, color, and archive. The position serves as a critical liaison between the Production/Photographers and post-production teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain camera-to-post workflows that support fast-turnaround TV and broadcast post-production
  • Manage all camera media, including offloading, backup, and delivery to post-production
  • Ensure accurate metadata, file naming, and folder organization in accordance with post-production specifications
  • Create, manage, and distribute LUTs and color pipeline documentation for editorial and color workflows
  • Expert knowledge of off-loading, ingesting media and familiar with file naming conventions and organizing metadata
  • Troubleshoot data, codec, color, or metadata issues that may impact editorial or finishing
  • Maintain consistency across multi-camera productions for seamless post-production integration

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows for TV and broadcast
  • Proficiency in color management, LUTs, color spaces, and monitoring standards
  • Experience with data management and QC software (DaVinci Resolve)
  • Knowledge of broadcast codecs, deliverables, and network specifications
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-volume production schedules
  • Strong communication skills with editorial, color, and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting editorial workflows (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Familiarity with shared storage, cloud workflows, and media asset management systems
