About The Role:

We are seeking a Sales Associate to play a crucial role on the SpendHound team. As a Sales Associate, you will join the go-to-market team of this new division and assist in acquiring new clients. Your responsibilities will include qualifying and following up with inbound leads and marketing-qualified opportunities, and proactively generating leads through outbound activity. You are then responsible for managing a full sales cycle and closing those new business opportunities.

This role is part of a new start-up team, but with the resources of a larger company. As such, you will gain experience in an earlier-stage sales environment with frequent iteration and the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities outside the general scope of your work.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and advancement within a brand-new segment for the company.

In this role, you'll gain experience in:

  • Running a full sales cycle from initial outreach all the way to close
  • Working on both inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Selling to C-level executives
  • Working in a startup environment, you'll be part of a small team going to market on a totally new product

You are likely to succeed if:

  • You have 2+ years in a high-velocity sales environment (SaaS preferred), either as a top-performing SDR/BDR or Account Executive (At least 1 year of selling and 1 year of acquisition
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy spending a lot of time on phone and video calls
  • You have strong email communication skills
  • You're comfortable working in a dynamic environment where things can change quickly
  • You're organized and can manage a large pipeline of opportunities

  • Base Salary + Variable Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $70,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation, with on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $136,000. Final compensation may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
