Your Impact
  • Lead and develop a team of Salesforce engineers and administrators through coaching, performance management, career development, hiring, and onboarding
  • Partner with the Platform Operations Manager and Salesforce Technical Architect to prioritize work, manage capacity, and deliver predictable outcomes
  • Remain hands-on by contributing to approximately 25% of a normal engineering cycle
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex needs into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Help improve platform reliability, reduce technical debt, and strengthen engineering practices across the team
  • Serve as an escalation point for incidents and support blameless postmortems and continuous improvement
  • Ensure work is appropriately captured, prioritized, and visible across the team
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on development
  • 4+ years of experience managing Salesforce engineering teams, including developers and/or administrators
  • Deep Salesforce expertise across Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Flow, security and sharing, governor limits, and the Salesforce data model
  • Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps, including SFDX, Git, source-driven development, CI/CD, sandbox strategy, and automated testing
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people leadership and team development
Nice to Have
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, timeshare, vacation ownership, or reservation-based businesses
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with Linear or similar project management tools
  • Experience introducing AI-assisted development tools into engineering teams
