JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY

We are seeking a seasoned IT leader to manage our Enterprise Desktop Engineering and Field Operation functions. This role is will lead a talented team of engineers and field operation experts across several locations, responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of end-user computing devices, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems, and managing the strategy, deployment, and security of end-user computing devices, including laptops, workstations, printers and virtual endpoints.. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in IT management, technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic enterprise environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead & develop the IT Desktop Engineering team in designing, deploying, and maintaining Microsoft Windows environments.

  • In this role, you will coach, mentor, and enhance the skills and capabilities of team members to build a cohesive and collaborative unit. You will provide continuous feedback to direct reports, ensuring their ongoing development.

  • Manage enterprise-wide device compute hardware and OS strategies, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and lifecycle management.

  • Oversee configuration and deployment using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).

  • Ensure compatibility and performance of end-user compute hardware platforms.

  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to create and enforce compliance and security standards.

  • Oversee EUC operations and engineering, ensuring the team develops and maintains documentation, SOPs, and asset management processes.

  • Manage large-scale contracts and relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for team members.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments to align IT services with business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, and MECM

  • Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and enterprise deployment strategies.

  • Experience with Dell and Microsoft hardware platforms

  • Demonstrated success in managing vendor contracts and procurement processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience managing Active Directory policies.

  • Extensive knowledge of PC operating systems and registry management.

  • Comprehensive understanding of PC hardware, software, operating systems, directory services, printing and applications required.

  • Experience in hardware and software design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

  • Experience with Anti-virus management consoles and troubleshooting

  • 24 x 7 x 365 support requirements. Available to work after hours and weekends, as required.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

PAY RANGE:

$111,137.00 - $172,263.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.
