Job Overview

Bank of Holland is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting the daily operational functions related to deposit accounts, electronic payments, online banking services, mobile deposits, ACH processing, wire transfers, and account maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both customers and internal staff.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review daily operational reports and resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Assist with wire processing activities and related operational support.
  • Perform deposit account maintenance and research requests.
  • Support online banking, debit card, and electronic banking services.
  • Assist with Cash Management products and customer support.
  • Ensure operational compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and internal staff inquiries related to deposit operations.
  • Monitor ACH transactions, returns, notifications of change, and exception items.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails.
  • Work collaboratively with branch personnel and other departments to support customer needs.
  • Complete additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous banking, deposit operations, ACH, wire, or electronic banking experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
