Description

Position Purpose: The Operations Processing Specialist is responsible for a broad range of deposit operations functions, including account maintenance, returns processing, account research, balancing and reconciliation, regulatory compliance reviews, fraud monitoring, and legal request processing. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of customer accounts, transactions, reports, and daily operational processes while supporting internal and external customer needs.


What you'll do:

  • Review large dollar items, DDA restrictions, Reg CC holds, stop payments, CD posting journals, Notices of Action Taken, closed DDA/CDA accounts, branch capture, mobile deposits, and Guardian fraud alerts.ย 
  • Process incoming and outgoing returns, account asset requests, DDA charge-offs, account adjustments/corrections, Federal Reserve adjustments, and legal requests including tax liens, garnishments, bankruptcies, and subpoenas.ย 
  • Review and validate CIF, DDA, CDA, and SDA maintenance forms, new accounts, and signature cards; perform customer research and W-8 monitoring.ย 
  • Prepare and distribute overdraft protection, Student Eagle, CD maturity, dormant account, change of address, transfer, and loan past due notices, as well as CD interest checks.ย 
  • Balance and process IRAs in Wolters Kluwer; complete the monthly IOLTA remittance report.ย 
  • Manage mail operations, including sorting incoming mail and processing undeliverable mail.ย 
  • Download, balance, repair, transmit, upload, export, and reconcile ECL, RDC, MDC, teller, ATM, and IRD files/batches; perform end-of-day processing and close the day in TCM.

Working Conditions:ย
