We are currently looking for a Deposit Operations Specialist to join our Deposit Services team.
Job Summary
The Deposit Operations Specialist is a phone-based position. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working by phone utilizing excellent customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. This role works within the Deposit Services Department which provides assistance to customers and branch personnel via telephone and digital channels. The department administers all back-office deposit processes for NASB, including item processing and ACH, debit, digital, and online banking support, CIP oversight, IRA administration, online account opening management, research and adjustment services, deposit account collections and legal processing.
What you can expect to work on
  • Responsible for a taking a high volume of inbound calls with occasional outbound calls.
  • Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Assists customers with account inquiries.
  • Understands and explains deposit products and services.
  • Performs data and monetary maintenance on accounts and customer records.
  • Cross-train and backup other processes and tasks within Deposit Services Department, as assigned.
  • Responsible for processing all incoming ACH, Check Adjustments, Stop payments, Reg E Opt-In Requests, Reconciliation of GL's, and other duties as assign.
  • The hours of this position will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and some Saturdays, 9:00 am to Noon.

Work Environment
  • This position is on-site at our headquarters with 1-2 days of flexible work.
