What You'll Be Doing
The Deposit Operations Business Systems Analyst is responsible for administering and supporting core banking and ancillary systems while serving as a key resource for operational reporting, user access management, system configuration, and process improvement initiatives. This role independently analyzes operational data, supports audit and compliance requirements, troubleshoots system-related issues, and partners with business units to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control practices across Deposit Operations and related departments.
What We're Looking For
  • Administer and maintain core banking and operational systems, including product setup, configuration updates, user administration, and system maintenance activities.
  • Independently manage user access controls across multiple banking applications, including onboarding, modifications, terminations, and periodic access reviews.
  • Generate, validate, analyze, and distribute operational and Business Analytics reports to support business and regulatory requirements.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve moderate-complexity system, reporting, and operational issues while coordinating with internal partners and vendors as needed.
  • Monitor system updates, release communications, and vendor notices, assessing operational impacts and assisting with implementation activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation, validating controls, responding to inquiries, and assisting with remediation efforts.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and exception monitoring to identify trends, risks, inaccuracies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain operational procedures, process documentation, system specifications, and user administration standards.
  • Participate in testing activities for system upgrades, product implementations, workflow enhancements, and operational changes.
  • Collaborate with business partners to evaluate operational needs and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, controls, and customer service.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to less experienced team members and serve as a resource within the department.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum Required: 3+ years of experience in banking operations, systems administration, business systems support, deposit operations, or a related area.

Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: None.

Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with core banking platforms and ancillary banking systems.
  • Experience utilizing reporting, analytics, or business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data using advanced Excel functions.
