Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Details.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BI Analyst to join our technology and business intelligence team. This role is responsible for transforming complex datasets into insightful, data-driven solutions that inform strategy, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, analytical acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical teams and business users to deliver impactful data visualizations and business intelligence tools. Candidates must have experience in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with technology leads and business stakeholders (e.g., brokers, market leaders, client teams) to understand business needs and co-develop data solutions that support client engagement and competitive strategy.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI dashboards and analytics applications using Power BI or similar visualization tools.

Translate complex commercial real estate or business operations data into intuitive visuals, interactive reports, and compelling data stories.

Act as a trusted data consultant for stakeholders, advising on best practices for data structure and visualization to drive strategic decision-making.

Integrate, clean, and manage data from multiple sources (e.g., internal systems, market intelligence, financial models, CRM platforms) for use in analytical projects.

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all visual outputs and reports, in line with company and industry best practices.

Continuously enhance and optimize existing BI tools and processes based on user feedback and business evolution.

Serve as a bridge between technical teams (e.g., IT, data engineering) and business users to ensure alignment and effective solution delivery.

Maintain a strong understanding of business metrics, industry trends, and performance indicators relevant to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Real Estate, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2-5 years of hands-on experience in BI, analytics, or a related field, preferably within B2B advisory or commercial operations.

Proficiency with BI tools, particularly Power BI; familiarity with Tableau or other platforms is a plus.

Strong Excel skills; working knowledge of SQL, DAX, Python, Alteryx, or Power Automate is preferred.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.

Experience designing data models and visual dashboards that drive value and clarity.

Solid understanding of visual storytelling principles and their application in business reporting.

High attention to detail and a passion for creating clear, polished, and reliable data visualizations.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Familiarity with commercial real estate metrics and concepts is a strong plus.
