TRC Talent Solutions, LLC is hiring a Deployment Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA or Remote
Type: Full-Time

Our client is seeking a Deployment Engineer to help implement and support robotic automation solutions for customers in warehouse and industrial environments. This customer-facing role combines technical troubleshooting, project coordination, and on-site system deployment to ensure successful implementation and operation of our robotics technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support on-site deployment and commissioning of robotic systems, including hardware, software, controls, and networking components.

  • Serve as the primary on-site OSARO representative during deployments and customer go-lives.

  • Coordinate deployment activities, communicate project status, and work closely with engineering and support teams to resolve issues.

  • Troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and networking problems in the field.

  • Document, track, and escalate issues while ensuring timely resolution.

  • Verify system performance and support customer acceptance testing and training.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing customer support.

  • Travel extensively to customer sites (75–100%).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.

  • Experience working with industrial robots, automation systems, or related technologies.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, software, and networking systems.

  • Comfortable working in Linux environments.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with warehouse or factory automation systems.

  • Exposure to PLCs, CAD software, robot programming, or controls engineering.

  • Familiarity with Python, REST APIs, or technical documentation.

  • Experience with FANUC, Yaskawa, or similar robotic platforms.
