Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Intune Desktop Engineer in Green Bay, WI.
Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Desktop Engineer to join an Infrastructure team. This role will be instrumental in maturing the endpoint environment and driving initiatives such as application catalog development, endpoint governance, and modern device management. The Engineer will execute against an established roadmap while helping elevate the organization's endpoint capabilities and overall end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Intune, focusing on endpoint deployment and management
* Design, build, and maintain an application catalog, including governance and best practices
* Lead application packaging, deployment, and patching strategies across the environment
* Strengthen endpoint security posture, including Microsoft Defender (E5) and Defender XDR; Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) rules deployment; Endpoint vulnerability management
* Support and improve endpoint infrastructure as it transitions from foundational to mature
* Develop and implement device management policies and standards (Windows and Apple devices)
* Support end-user technologies including Workstations and mobile devices; Microsoft Teams Rooms/conference room technology; Printer lifecycle management (Universal Print)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure roadmap execution
* Support testing, deployment rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Contribute to identity and access initiatives (Microsoft Entra ID exposure)
* Help identify and close gaps within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
* Support roadmap initiatives extending through 2027
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with application packaging, deployment, and patch management
* Experience in enterprise environments with distributed locations
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (endpoint management and deployments)
* Strong understanding of endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender, XDR)
* Knowledge of Apple device management in corporate environments
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams Rooms, and Universal Print
* Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
