Location: REMOTE - must be located near hub/airport
Type: Expected 3+ Month Contract
Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay: $35/hour - 42/hour DOE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deployment Engineer to join our robotics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all install/commissioning/retrofitting/etc activities in the field at Fulfillment centers across the US.
Summary
  • You will oversee the install of a new frame technology that they are installing at all of the fulfillment centers for each station.
  • The Deployment Engineer is the link between the vendors installing the technology and Amazon management. Deployment Engineers are considered the lead onsite for status updates, risks & scheduling.
  • Deployment Engineers go through the QC checklist to make sure everything is installed correctly.
  • There is some light troubleshooting that may be done, some commissioning and need to understand the blueprints (sometimes schematics) to make sure the frames are installed correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure robotic systems at customer locations including basic electrical or mechanical skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Perform system diagnostics and resolve technical issues during installations.
  • Provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
  • Conduct system tests and validation to ensure performance meets specifications.
  • Document deployment processes and maintain detailed reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting robotic, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or automation equipment is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability read AutoCAD, Creo or Solidworks drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Previous internship or 3+ months of experience is a plus but not required
  • Previous project management or coordination with stakeholders in a plus but not required.
  • Comfort and ability to travel weekly or bi-weekly for installations or support.
  • Good communication skills
