We'reย adding to the E Techย Groupย Team!ย ย We seek early-career engineers interested in mission-critical infrastructure.ย ย As an Entry-Level Data Center Engineer,ย you'llย support the design, implementation, and commissioning of data center systems, working alongside experienced engineers across power, cooling, controls, and network infrastructure.ย 

This role is hands-on and fast-paced;ย you'll gain exposure to real-world projects while developing the technical and professional skills needed to grow into a fully independent engineer.ย ย We offer clear paths to advance into Controls, Electrical, or Project Engineer roles.ย 

You Will:ย 

  • Support engineering and project teams in the design and deployment of data center infrastructure systems (power, cooling, controls, and monitoring)ย ย 
  • Assistย with development of technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and commissioning plansย ย 
  • Participate in on-site activities such as system testing, startup, and commissioningย ย 
  • Help troubleshoot system issues across electrical, mechanical, and controls systemsย ย 
  • Support integration of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platformsย ย 
  • Work with senior engineers to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and uptime expectationsย ย 
  • Maintainย accurateย project documentation and contribute to project reportingย ย 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, field technicians, andย clientย 
  • Be an ambassador who embodies ourย Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.ย 

You Have:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldย ย 
  • 0-2 years relevant experience; internships, co-ops, and lab work preferred.ย 
  • Foundational understanding of electrical or mechanical systemsย ย 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environmentย ย 
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and schematicsย 
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support)ย 
  • A DNAย comprisedย of collaboration and teamwork.ย 

You may have:ย 

  • Exposure to data center environments or mission-critical facilitiesย ย 
  • Familiarity with:ย ย 
  • Exposure to PLC or DDC controlled data center projectsย
