Job description

Citrus Ford and Citrus Kia are seeking an experienced, high-energy BDC / Internet Sales Representative who knows how to turn leads into

appointments—and appointments into sold vehicles.

This is not an entry-level call-center position. We are looking for someone who understands automotive internet leads, responds with urgency,

follows a disciplined process, builds real rapport by phone and text, and takes personal ownership of their results.

You will work with a large selection of new Ford and Kia vehicles, used inventory, and a strong dealership team that can help customers find

the right vehicle—from efficient commuter vehicles to trucks, SUVs, performance models, and everything in between.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond quickly and professionally to internet leads, phone calls, text messages, chat leads, and third-party inquiries.
  • Build rapport, identify customer needs, answer initial vehicle questions, and guide customers toward an appointment.
  • Confirm appointments, send reminders, and follow up consistently to improve show rates.
  • Work closely with sales management and sales consultants to ensure customers receive a smooth handoff and excellent experience.
  • Maintain complete, accurate CRM notes, tasks, and customer records.
  • Follow up on unsold showroom traffic, missed appointments, prior leads, and equity/replacement opportunities.
  • Use phone, text, email, and video communication to create engagement and move customers forward.
  • Help maintain high customer satisfaction while meeting appointment, show, contact, and sales goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Automotive BDC, internet sales, or dealership sales experience required.
  • Strong phone, text, and email communication skills.
  • Proven ability to set and confirm quality sales appointments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with dealership CRMs, lead-management processes, and internet lead follow-up.
  • Self-motivated, organized, coachable, and accountable.
  • Professional attitude with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Why Citrus Motors

  • Work with both Citrus Ford and Citrus Kia inventory.
  • Strong selection of new and used vehicles to give customers real choices.
  • Supportive sales and management team focused on converting opportunities—not just collecting leads.
  • Opportunity to grow with an established dealership group in Ontario.
  • Competitive compensation plan based on experience and performance.
  • Clear expectations, accountability, and the tools needed to succeed.
