Receptionist Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls in a polite, professional and friendly manner

Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner

Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and organized manner at all times

Operate standard office equipment effectively

Estimate service calls and schedule customers professionally and accurately

Receive deliveries – develops a professional relationship with our vendors

Maintain the general office filing system

Willing to support our dispatch department

Additional duties as assigned by the Team

Receptionist Qualifications

Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and other employees; uses Please and Thank you in all email, in-person, and phone conversations

Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly

Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day

Patience and listening skills to respond appropriate and interact positively with customers

Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable and attentive

Professional and friendly
