Job Overview

We are seeking a Database Administrator to act as a technical expert within IT infrastructure, responsible for maintaining and optimizing critical database systems to ensure data accuracy, availability, and security.

This role will lead complex initiatives such as system maintenance, performance tuning, and large-scale upgrades. You’ll troubleshoot high-impact issues and support business-critical applications that require high availability. The ideal candidate is both a strong communicator and critical thinker—able to translate complex technical concepts, collaborate cross-functionally, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.

This role also includes mentoring junior team members and offers a clear path toward a lead-level position.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Equivalent experience accepted:
      • Associate’s Degree + 2 years of related experience, OR
    • 4 years of related experience in lieu of post-secondary education
  • 5+ years of IT or computer technology experience with a Bachelor’s degree
    • OR 3+ years with a Master’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on database administration experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and support off-hours work as needed
  • Ability to work onsite in Holland, MI (no remote/hybrid or relocation assistance available)
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization in the U.S.
