Position: Database Manager

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

  • Experience in SQL Server.
  • Experience in Database Operations.
  • Experience in Database Analysis.
  • Identify Database Issues & Analysis.
  • Day-to-day operations oversight, Direction/Prioritization when issues arise, Problem resolution, Metric review/presentation, Job run approvals, Process improvements, Metric improvements, Gap/issue resolution.
  • Triage all the issues to the team for resolutions, from informatics leadership, business teams, informatics peers and all other IT areas.
  • Triage the issues and send it to the teams through ticketing systems.
  • Strong experience in Deployments, Process Management/Improvements, Change Control Approval, MAR audit, Schedule Compliance Escalations and Support.
  • Databases are sitting in Cloud (Should have cloud experience, AWS could be great).
  • Databricks is a Plus.
