We're seeking an experienced National Sales Executive (individual contributor) to drive new revenue for our Audience Solutions Group. This role focuses on selling data segments, audience targeting solutions, and data licensing partnerships - not media or ad inventory.
Our Audience Solutions data stack combines thousands of data points across billions of records, integrating behavioral, transactional, and proprietary data to help brands, agencies, and platforms identify, activate, and optimize target audiences. The right candidate will have a proven track record of selling data-driven products (DMP/CDP integrations, identity graph solutions, or audience enrichment services) to brands, agencies, or platforms. You will play a critical role in positioning Valpak's audience solutions as a core part of our clients' marketing strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with building a prospecting pipeline and closing agencies and purchasers of data and affiliated martech products.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, executive presence, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish relationships at the executive and decision maker level and close.
  • Identify sales prospects and work with leadership on prospect strategy.
  • Passionate about print, digital media, and media planning
  • Define and execute account strategies with publishers, data companies, advertisers and agencies
  • Make outbound calls, emails, social media posts, and conference networking to potential customers to generate, present, and close new business.
  • Performs related work and additional duties as needed or required.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
  • Sales experience in Data Products.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the data, online media/advertising experience
  • Demonstrated a history and success of contracting and developing client relationships at the senior (Decision Maker) level or Agency level.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and results oriented
  • Extensive knowledge of online advertising, media, affiliate marketing and online and mobile commerce
  • Ability to manage priorities, multiple initiatives, and deadlines and to operate with a sense of urgency
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Multi-tasking capability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
