Job description

Overview
The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA)*, the private fundraising and alumni relations organization for the UW-Madison, is seeking Constituent Data Processing Coordinator. In this position you will be responsible for creating constituent records and maintaining demographic data and other identifiers in the enterprise database with an emphasis on quality, efficiency and internal / external customer service. We can hire this position 100% in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Texas, or Wisconsin.
Please note: This position can be filled at the Constituent Data Processing Coordinator or Senior Constituent Data Processing Coordinator level, depending on skills/experience of selected candidate.

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association is a private, nonprofit corporation that encourages individuals and organizations to make gifts to the university and to connect with the UW. In 2014, the UW Foundation merged with the Wisconsin Alumni Associationยฎ to better serve a growing population of UW alumni and donors. Responsibilities
Data Mananagement
  • Update or add demographic information and create new constituent records from a variety of sources.
  • Monitor and process requests received through an electronic ticket system. Respond to the sender in a helpful and timely manner and process their update or request.
  • Receive and process information from paper mail returns received by the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association [WFAA] or from affiliated campus departments and units.
  • Use online tools to research and locate updated demographic information.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with team members and partners in other WFAA departments.

Project Work
  • Participate in recurring projects as an individual contributor and/or team member.
  • Suggest projects that could help standardize the data and provide a better overall experience to our customers.

Customer Service
  • Establish and maintain mutually respectful relationships with WFAA staff and campus partners from units and departments affiliated with UW-Madison.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to WFAA staff, campus partners, alumni, donors, and friends. In all cases, provide timely resolution to requests and questions in a professional and courteous manner.

Other Duties
  • Adhere to WFAA and departmental business processes, rules, and best practices.
  • Perform basic queries on the database that are used to review and as necessary, clean up entries in the records.
  • Participate in all Constituent Data Processing team meetings.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities offered at WFAA or through an external organization

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • CRM/database data maintenance experience.

Other Qualifications:
  • Post high school training.
  • Familiarity with query tools and a demonstrated ability to perform research.
  • Past experience with Salesforce, Blackbaud CRM or other CRM systems.
