  • Support modernization initiatives for existing production systems and services.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, technical planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, platform, and data processing issues across development and production environments.
  • Mentor engineers through technical reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-focused capabilities.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Experience using Git for source control and collaborative software development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
  • Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based or hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Strong debugging, documentation, and technical communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile software development teams.
  • Experience supporting production systems used by operational and analytic mission users.
Team Environment
  • Established team of software, data, and platform engineers.
  • Technical leadership role with significant influence on architecture and engineering direction.
  • Agile development environment with collaborative planning, code reviews, and iterative delivery.
