Job Title: PLM Project Manager
Location: Morgan Hill, California (Onsite)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PLM Project Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a large-scale data migration from FlexPLM to a homegrown PLM application. This role will be responsible for driving project governance, ensuring data integrity, and managing cross-functional collaboration to enable a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery:
• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the PLM migration program.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
• Establish and drive project governance, reporting cadences, and escalation mechanisms.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
Data Migration & System Transition:
• Oversee migration of product data including BOMs, materials, specifications, and workflows from FlexPLM to the new system.
• Define and implement data migration approach including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, reconciliation, and auditability throughout the migration lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Design, Sourcing, Merchandising, and IT teams.
• Align priorities across leadership, business users, and technical teams.
• Provide regular updates and ensure transparency on progress, risks, and dependencies.
Risk & Issue Management:
• Identify and proactively manage risks related to data loss, business disruption, and system dependencies.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans, including rollback strategies.
• Resolve issues efficiently to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
Change Management & User Adoption:
• Drive comprehensive change management initiatives including communication planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead user training programs and support transition to the new PLM system.
• Ensure business readiness and adoption post-migration.
Cutover & Go-Live Management:
• Define and execute cutover strategy (phased or big-bang approach).
• Plan and manage system shutdown activities, including:

o Data freeze
o Final reconciliation
o Access revocation

• Ensure smooth go-live and post-implementation stabilization.

Required Skills & Experience:
• 8–12+ years of experience in project/program management.
• Proven experience in PLM implementations, upgrades, or data migration projects (FlexPLM strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes, data mapping, and validation techniques.
• Expertise in project delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
• Excellent risk management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical audiences.
• Experience in managing complex, cross-functional transformation programs.
