Job description

  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects of moving ONPrem to Cloud.
  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff on AWS outposts.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technicalaspects of projects.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application, security, networking, database, and operations teams, and driving end-to-end migration execution with minimal business disruption.
  • The candidate should have strong experience in cloud migration programs, hybrid infrastructure, Agile delivery, risk and issue management, migration planning, cutover coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience with AWS services, Linux/Windows platforms, VMware, networking, and enterprise migration.     
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage and define migration pods.
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards,and cost targets are met.
  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence tobudget, schedule, and scope.
  • Confer with project personnel to identify andresolve problems.
  • Monitor or track project milestones anddeliverables.
  • Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherenceto quality standards.
  • Assess current or future customer needs andpriorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods.
  • Initiate, review, or approve modifications toproject plans.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related toinformation technology projects.
  • Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.
  • Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI).
  • Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources.
  • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives,technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, andstaffing.
  • Perform risk assessments to develop responsestrategies.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting,analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Identify, review, or select vendors orconsultants to meet project needs.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets forinformation technology projects.
  • Establish and execute a project communicationplan.
  • Develop and manage work breakdown structure(WBS) of information technology projects.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members,providing and documenting performance feedback.
  • Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans ofauthority to project personnel.
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliersto obtain resources or materials.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ComputerInformation Systems, or related field will be considered.
