Project Support Specialist Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced materials receiving specialist to work collaboratively with our projects team on specific short- and long-term projects. In this role, you will oversee all inbound project materials and communicate with the project coordinators and all necessary vendors. You will need to be highly organized, detailed oriented, self-driven and be able to work independently as well as with a team.

Project Support Specialist Roles and Responsibilities

  • Organize and monitor in bound freight schedules and see that deadlines are met.
  • Lead the effort in material check in to ensure the quality & accuracy of inbound purchase orders
  • Follow up on purchase orders to ensure the timing accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with the Projects team to maximize productivity.
  • Report updates verbally and in written form to the Projects team.
  • Complete any necessary administrative tasks, such as research and email.
  • Assist in the effort of vendor returns

Project Support Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2+ years in PVF material handling in the oil & gas industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Able to proactively address potential issues.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Netsuite
  • Significant hands-on experience with industry-specific software
  • Collaborative working style and team-player attitude.
  • Positive leadership skills and encouraging personality.
