SAP HANA Technical Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Mode of Job: 3-4 days work from office in a week
Mode of Interview: One Virtual, One face to face
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Technical Project Manager with 15+ years of IT experience to lead end-to-end SAP HANA/S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and technical transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of SAP technical expertise, project leadership, requirements management, solution coordination, technical troubleshooting, and stakeholder management. The candidate should be capable of working closely with business stakeholders while providing technical direction to SAP engineering and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP HANA/S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams.
Drive project planning, estimation, resource allocation, milestones, dependencies, and delivery.
Lead cross-functional teams covering SAP HANA, Basis, ABAP, functional, integration, infrastructure, security, data migration, and testing.
Provide technical leadership and support for solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decisions.
Drive data migration, system migration, integrations, testing, cutover, deployment, go-live, and hypercare activities.
Review technical designs, implementation approaches, estimates, and project deliverables.
Manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, defects, and change requests.
Provide technical troubleshooting and support for HANA database, performance, integration, data, and application-related issues.
Coordinate SIT, UAT, performance testing, cutover rehearsals, production deployment, and stabilization.
Work directly with business users to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Coordinate with SAP, system integrators, vendors, infrastructure teams, and onshore/offshore delivery teams.
Provide regular project status, technical updates, RAID reporting, and executive-level communication.
Must-Have Skills
15+ years of IT experience with strong SAP experience.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA and/or S/4HANA.
