Role: Sr. DBT Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

Job Description:

We need a senior-level candidate with around 15+ Years of overall experience.

We are looking for a highly skilled DBT Engineer with strong Snowflake experience to join our data engineering team.

The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in data engineering and hands-on expertise in DBT and Snowflake 3 to 4 years.

Required Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse
• Exposure to DBT orchestration techniques
• Knowledge of Informatica data integration processes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins)
• Good understanding of SQL and cloud-based data platforms
• Familiarity with DBT seeds, macros, and custom materializations

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work on DBT development, including building and maintaining models, packages, and workflows.
2. Manage end-to-end DBT project orchestration and implement best practices.
3. Lead or support DBT migration projects and share strategies used for successful data migration.
4. Identify and resolve DBT-related challenges, including performance and data integrity issues.
5. Design and develop various DBT models and custom packages.
6. Collaborate with teams to understand and integrate Informatica-based data pipelines where applicable.
7. Conduct testing and validation on data quality and transformations.
