Reporting to the Customer Success, Technical Services Manager, the Data Migration Specialist is responsible for customer data migrations into the TraceGains platform. This includes planning, executing, and validating data migration projects across a range of file formats and data types. Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, R&D, QA, and API specialists to support implementations, resolve issues, and drive product improvements. This position will be Remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Data Migration: Execute end-to-end data migrations including source analysis, schema mapping, data transformation, and validation across CSV, Excel, and XML formats.
  • AI-Assisted Migration: Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate data mapping, transformation, and validation processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • SQL Scripting: Write and execute custom SQL scripts to transform, clean, and prepare customer data for migration and ongoing data management.
  • API Support: Respond to basic customer API inquiries and perform first-level troubleshooting; escalate more complex issues to senior API specialists.
  • Configuration Workbooks: Provide backup support for setting up and configuring TraceGains workbooks, including field mapping and initial system configuration.
  • General Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to data discrepancies, configuration errors, and platform behavior.
  • Standard Configuration Installation: Assist with standard configuration setup for new customers by following established implementation processes and documentation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data migration, data analysis, system configuration, or a related technical role
  • SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
  • Data Migration Experience: Hands-on experience performing data migrations, including source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and validation
  • Technical Tools & Data Handling: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., large datasets, VLOOKUP) and experience working with structured data formats such as CSV, Excel, and XML
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required

The compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 USD per year.This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
