Title: Storage & Data Migration Engineer (DC-to-Cloud)
Duration: Contract (Immediate Start)
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote / Flexible)

Rate: $ 55-65/hr

We are seeking experienced professionals to support immediate Proof of Concepts (POCs) and upcoming project work. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise storage platforms and hands-on experience with large-scale data migrations from data centers to cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in client discussions to assess and define storage requirements
  • Design and implement storage solutions aligned with business needs
  • Execute DC-to-cloud migration projects involving large-scale data movement and replication
  • Support and run POCs for storage and migration solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery
  • Provide technical expertise on storage platforms and data protection strategies
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms:
    • Pure Storage
    • Dell EMC Unity
    • NetApp
  • Experience with Zerto for data replication and disaster recovery
  • Proven track record in DC-to-cloud migrations, including:
    • Data migration planning and execution
    • Large-scale data replication
  • Ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to ongoing POCs and projects
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing discussions
