Job description

Job Summary for Senior SAP S/4 HANA Data Migration Developer
- Location: Middletown, PA (Hybrid – remote with onsite meetings one week/month)
- Contract: Long-term, C2C, USC and GC only
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data requirements and develop effective migration strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams for data migration planning and execution.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS and SAP HANA Migration Cockpit.
- Migrate data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA and related SAP modules (e.g., Finance, MM, SD, BRIM).
- Develop and maintain data integration solutions, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Validate migrated data, conduct reconciliation, and quickly resolve discrepancies.
- Document all technical and functional aspects of data migration processes as per client standards.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot ETL and data transformation issues.
- Stay current with latest data migration and ETL technologies and best practices.
- Develop productive relationships with project teams, business owners, and stakeholders.
- Work independently and lead/participate in project team activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of data development experience, including 2+ years with SAP BODS.
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data transformation.
- Proficiency in SAP BODS, S/4 HANA, SQL Server, and data integration tools.
- Experience with SAP data migration tools (Migration Cockpit, IDocs, BAPI, EMIGALL, LSMW).
- Experience developing custom migration objects.
- SQL proficiency; ABAP experience is a plus.
- Experience migrating data for SAP modules (Finance, MM, SD, BRIM).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Other data management and ETL process certifications.
