Responsibilities for a Data Entry Clerk include but are not limited to:

• Accurately enter and update high volumes of data using complex data entry systems
• Perform 10-key data entry by touch while maintaining speed and accuracy
• Review, interpret, and verify data for completeness and accuracy
• Meet strict productivity, quality, and deadline requirements in a fast-paced environment

Candidates for Data Entry Clerk must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
• 10-key by touch experience
• 1–3 years of data entry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and accuracy
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and speak English fluently
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Skype for Business
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, follow complex instructions, and meet deadlines
• Immaculate attendance record

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Typing speed of 40–50 WPM
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology
• General knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding, and modifier usage
• Experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines
