Responsibilities

  • Assist the Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions
  • Supervise Data Entry and Customer Service Technicians to ensure productivity standards are met
  • Allocate staffing resources based on current workflow
  • Review and enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
  • Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies
  • Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
  • Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist In Charge

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas required
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred
  • Previous data entry experience preferred
  • Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
  • Knowledge of SIG-Codes
  • Quick typing skills
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS
