Job description

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Data Coordinator

Salary Grade 22: $77,519 - $88,320


The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Data Coordinator in the Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Division of Grants Management and Special Projects to be part of an efficient, effective, high performing project team responsible for the management of initiatives funded through the Opioid Settlement Fund.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Ensure projects are in compliance with data collection expectations with regard to quantity, quality, and timeliness.
  • Review data submissions across all projects managed by the Division.
  • Understand each project data collection well enough to do an initial identification of data anomalies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners which foster a collaborative approach to understanding, submitting, processing, and returning data.
  • Train providers on how to use data tools.
  • Provide technical assistance to external partners on data collection workflows.
  • Work with the internal data team to formulate formal data returns to providers.
  • Help providers understand their project data in relationship to the project goals laid out in the scope of work.
  • Work with the Associate Director of the project team to implement tools for measuring and tracking the Division's efforts across projects.
  • Contribute ideas and innovations for process improvement on a highly performing team.
  • Travel: 5%

Minimum Qualifications:


  • 7 years of professional research or evaluation experience; OR
  • Associate's degree and 5 years of professional research or evaluation experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional research or evaluation experience; OR
  • Master's degree 2 years of professional research or evaluation experience; OR
  • JD. and 1 year of professional research or evaluation experience; OR
  • PhD.
  • Candidates must possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State at the time of appointment and continuously thereafter.
