Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to support a high-visibility National Security contract in Arlington, VA (100% onsite). The Program Manager will bring strong experience in DoD staff coordination, executive-level communication, & program operations. The Program Manager will play a key role in enabling leadership decision-making, coordinating cross-functional efforts, managing program execution, & ensuring alignment across cybersecurity initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Responsibilities of the Executive Action Officer include: * Support Executive Leadership: Serve as a principal advisor & staff support to the AI Cybersecurity Office, enabling timely and informed decision-making * Manage Program Operations: Oversee daily activities, ensuring tasks, priorities, & deliverables align with Government objectives * Coordinate Action Items: Track tasks, milestones, risks, dependencies, & deliverables across RMF & cybersecurity workstreams * Facilitate Communication: Coordinate across multiple organizations & leadership levels to ensure proper dissemination of guidance and direction * Develop Reporting Materials: Produce monthly status reports, quad charts, briefings, & executive summaries * Plan & Execute Meetings: Organize meetings, conferences, & VTCs; develop agendas, take meeting minutes, & maintain attendee records * Maintain Documentation: Develop & manage program documentation, trackers, SOPs, schedules, & process guides * Draft & Review Correspondence: Prepare, edit, & review official communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, & alignment with leadership intent * Support Workforce Operations: Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, ensuring access, orientation, & knowledge transfer activities are executed efficiently * Track Organizational Actions: Maintain suspense trackers, action item portals, & filing systems in coordination with executive staff * Ensure Compliance: Support adherence to DoD policies, federal regulations, & internal cybersecurity procedures * Drive Operational Efficiency: Manage multiple priorities in a high-tempo environment while continuously improving processes and coordination Qualifications of the Executive Action Officer include: * 10+ years of experience providing executive-level support, planning, or advisory services within the DoD or federal environment * Proven experience in program coordination, task management, & executive communications * Strong understanding of DoD organizational structures, processes, and staff operations * Experience supporting cybersecurity or RMF-related programs is highly preferred * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for executive briefings * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills supporting senior military and government leadership * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities * Experience developing SOPs, trackers, reports, and operational documentation * Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment * Active Secret clearance required * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) * Experience supporting executive-level operations, coordination, or action officer functions * Strong customer service mindset and stakeholder engagement skills Compensation for the Action Officer/Project Manager includes: * Salary Range: $130,000-165,000 **depending on experience** * Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, Holidays, PTO, sick leave as required by law Keywords: Action Officer, Program Manager, Project Manager, National Security, NatSec, Arlington, VA, Virginia, DOD, DOW, Department of Defense, Department of War, operations, management, decision, decision making, decision-making, coordination, coordinate, coordinating, execution, function, cyber, cybersecurity, executive, program, project, AI, federal, program coordination, task management, executive communications, tasks, milestones, risks, dependencies, deliverables, RMF, workstream, risk management framework, communication, leadership, report, status reports, quad charts, briefings, executive summary, meetings, conferences, VTC, video teleconferencing, teleconference, agenda, meeting minutes, attendee records, documentation, program documentation, trackers, SOP, standard operating procedure, schedule, process guide, Prepare, edit, review, onboarding, onboard, offboarding, offboard, access, orientation, knowledge transfer, suspense tracker, action item, filing system, compliance, adherence, procedure, federal regulation, planning, advisory, Microsoft, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, executive briefing, organized, organize, organizational, verbal, written, dod cleared, dod clearance, secret clearance, secret, secret cleared, secret security clearance, security clearance, security cleared, customer service #LI-SW1 #LI-ONSITE
