The Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the customer relationship and coordination of large project orders. Coordinate with Vendors and Customers, providing both technical expertise and logistical support, while maintaining strong business relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage material for large customer project(s)
  • Assist with managing customer inventory both inside warehouses and in designated yards
  • Interface with key customer contacts and sales team to understand projects scopes and needs
  • Quote/Sales Order entry
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors
  • Expedite open orders
  • Negotiate with freight carriers and arrange deliveries
  • Obtain and review shipping/receiving documentation and MTR's
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing
  • Develop SOPs and written processes for customer project(s) as needed
  • Be in compliance with all established SOPs
  • Control document flow of large customer project(s)
  • Spreadsheet construction and maintenance for large customer project(s)
  • Analyze and recommend areas where efficiencies and advantages can be gained by DNOW and/or our customer
  • Support Project Managers as workload permits
  • Manage, maintain, and execute multiple projects and assignments simultaneously with minimum supervision
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with PVF materials
  • Oil & Gas knowledge preferred
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word)
  • Process, administrative, operations and SAP experience
  • Positive and assertive attitude
  • Detail-oriented, organized and analytical
  • Understanding of and total commitment to DNOW processes
  • Outgoing, service-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to receive direction
  • Oral and written communication skills, both internal and external
  • Relationship-building abilities with both customers and co-workers
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Must have current, valid driver's license and clean driving record
