The Decision Support team partners closely with Commercial and Life Insurance business leaders to provide data-driven financial insights that support growth, optimize performance, and inform strategic decision-making. Operating at the center of finance, analytics, and business operations, the team delivers critical reporting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure leadership has clear visibility into revenue performance, underlying drivers, and emerging trends.
This team plays a key role in shaping strategic priorities across core insurance products by combining deep financial expertise with a strong understanding of market dynamics, pipeline activity, and customer behavior.
About the Role
The Decision Support Senior Analyst serves as a trusted finance partner to Commercial and Life Insurance leaders, delivering advanced financial analysis, revenue insights, and decision support. This role operates at the intersection of financial reporting, forecasting, and business partnership, with a strong focus on translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance management, while providing strategic guidance on growth initiatives, pricing, and investment decisions. This individual will also play a key role in enhancing reporting processes and leveraging AI-driven tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities
Revenue Performance & Reporting Leadership
  • Deliver clear, concise insights on revenue performance against forecast, plan, and prior year, including driver-based commentary
  • Monitor pipeline activity, market trends, and transactional drivers to explain revenue movement
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of revenue reporting outputs through strong stakeholder partnership
Insights, Analytics & Decision Support
  • Analyze revenue drivers, customer trends, and product mix to identify growth and optimization opportunities
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and deep-dive insights to support strategic initiatives and leadership decision-making
  • Synthesize complex datasets into executive-ready materials, recommendations, and financial narratives
  • Identify emerging risks and trends, providing proactive insights and early warning signals to leadership
Business Partnership (Commercial & Life Focus)
  • Act as a primary finance partner to Commercial and Life business leaders, translating financial data into actionable guidance
  • Support business reviews, operating rhythms, and leadership discussions with clear and concise financial storytelling
  • Challenge assumptions and provide financial perspective on growth strategies, pricing, and investment decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and FP&A teams to align on business priorities
Process Improvement & Reporting Enhancement
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, data quality, and automation to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Leverage AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to streamline reporting and automate recurring analysis
  • Identify and implement AI-driven workflows across reporting, forecasting, and analytics processes
  • Establish and promote best practices for responsible and effective use of AI within finance workflows
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting,, or a related field
  • Significant experience in financial analysis, decision support, FP&A, or related finance roles
  • Excellent proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering insights to senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence business decisions
  • Experience working with financial reporting tools and data platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Experience leveraging or implementing AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) within reporting or analytics workflows is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outputs

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $71,600 - $119,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
